I’m Nancy Smallwood, a small-town native from Arkport, New York, and a single mom to two wonderful children, Braydon and Autumn. My career began in healthcare finance, and over the years, I’ve held positions in management, claims, and operations. My passion for helping people led me to become a licensed Health, Life & Accident insurance agent in 2023. Now, I’m here to advocate for your health needs and make sure your insurance choices are clear, affordable, and tailored to you.
A Journey Rooted in Compassion
From Healthcare Finance to Insurance Advocacy
My career in healthcare began as a side job while studying Speech Pathology in college. However, I was soon offered a management position in healthcare finance, which set me on a path of learning and growth. Over the years, I’ve overseen finance departments for 50 nursing homes and worked directly with claims, appeals, and long-term care planning. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how health insurance works and, more importantly, how it affects individuals and families.
